ZOHO CRM: Invoice templates

ZOHO CRM invoice gives us pretty flexible options to customize it's layout and fields, invoice not only can communicate with Account and Contact, we can also get info from other moudles such as Potential, Quotes...
You can have 4 modules for creating invoice template, go to the Setup => Templates =>Inventory Templates, it will ask you which module for creating invoice template.


Below is showing if we choice Quote module for the invoice template, then we can have 7 modules information to be accessed in the template.


Below is showing if we choice Invoice module for the invoice template, then we can have 6 modules information to be accessed in the template.

Why is not information from the Potential available on the Invoice if you can put data from the potential on the Quoate?

I think,  Quotes are closly related to Potentials, once we reach to create an Invoice, then Potential stage is always WON, so seems like we don't necessary to includes Potential info.

But you can create your own custom field(s) in Quote, and "Also create for"  Invoice module, so when converting Quote to Invoice, your custom field(s) values will be copied to Invoice automatically.
